1233 ABC Newcastle and more specifically Paul Bevan’s Drive show wants your bra...Paul and the 1233 team are asking local women to donate their bras to be sent to the Philippines for disadvantages women. The program is being run by upliftbras.org. People donating bras to 1233’s bra drive will also go into the draw to win tickets to see Breast Wishes: an uplifting musical at the Civic Theatre on May 26th. Clubs NSW has again put it's support behind local people with breast cancer.
It has joined forces with Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation to hold the Clubs in the Community Race Day.

The day will be held on Saturday 9th July 2011 at Newcastle Jockey Club and will raise money for local people who a currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

Ladies Day

Come on down to the Ladies Day Vintage Garden Party at the No. 1 Sports Grounds on Sunday May 15th @ 12.30. High Tea and Champagne on arrival. There will also be Market stalls and a Fashion Parade. Tickets are $10.00
