Financial Assistance

The Foundation offers financial assistance to low income patients through the subsidizing of breast prostheses or assisting with the costs of post operative treatments for some patients who may not have insurance and may be unable to work.

Virginia Rigby Scholarship

The Scholarship funds the educational needs of young disadvantaged children who have lost their mother to breast cancer or for children whose mothers are suffering financial hardship due to breast cancer treatment.

The scholarship is named in honour of the Foundation’s founder, Virginia Rigby, who lost her battle with breast cancer in June 2004.
